Documentaries

Documenting is an art form - In reality documentary making is documenting reality, but far removed from what we see as reality television today. Xabc Production's experience of making this style of long form production again goes back to the ABC, who makes some of the best national and international programmes.

Made in conjunction with Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council is "The Journey of Truth", is the story of the Darkinjung Community of the Central Coast, who travelled to Canberra for Rudds apology to the Stolen Generation.

Productions of the Annual "5 Lands Walk" made in partnership with Gosford City Council. documents NSW Central Coast walkers connecting with the land and the people who in habit it, learning about the indigenous heritage of the area, whilst the Humpback Whale travels north during the winter solstice. A day of spiritual awareness conveyed beautifully in a half hour documentary, and aired on Aurora TV.

Another documentary aired was the Gosford Councils 'Australia Day Lantern Parade' , filmed at Woy Woy on the Central Coast. Showcasing 20 foot whale and pelican lanterns for example, and representing the various communities on the peninsular.

In production at the moment is   " Saved By the Blues". Documenting the    life changing illnesses of Kevin Borich and Mal Eastick. Two prolific blues musicians in Australian music go through harrowing ordeals as they both face illnesses and risk loosing their lives to it. Watch out for this one -
